Ten months after the death of his young son in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson says he has made some major changes in his life.

One of the game’s top players — he’s run for more than 1,000 yards in six of his seven seasons and topped 2,000 yards in his 2012 league MVP season — Peterson called the death of his 2-year-old son last October a reality check for him.
